This webinar introduces the topic of research data management, and why it is important. It outlines how to develop a data management plan to ensure the transparency and integrity of research data, as well as compliance with data protection and ethical standards. This covers the lifecycle of data from collection to processing, analysis, storage and sharing as appropriate - offering guidance and tips for the management of each stage in the cycle. The webinar concludes with a Q&A session on common issues around data management. The webinar was led by Tsitsi Bandason, a clinical epidemiologist at the Biomedical Research and Training Institute, Zimbabwe.
