Dr. Ephephania Muchaneta Munetsi is the program Manager of a mental health program called Support Comprehensive Care and empowerment for People with psychosocial disabilities in Africa (SUCCEED- AFRICA). She is the former Friendship Bench project coordinator; a position held for six years before joining SUCCEED program. She is an innovative and resilient lady who has interest in research hence her inquisitiveness has made her to become one of the two registered research psychologists in the country. She has a sound understanding of human psychology and various therapies used to treat mental disorders. She has contributed to the field of mental health through research and publications.

Dr Munetsi holds a DPhil in psychology and her research focused on depression in men living with HIV attending primary care poly clinics in Harare, Zimbabwe. Her post-Doctoral study is focusing on psychosis in men in Zimbabwe, and how they can be assisted in their local environment. She aims to bring about local innovations which can help manage psychosis among men in Zimbabwe.
